- They cannot hear to the crucial announcements at airlines or reservations.
- They cannot hear or talk to their fellow travelers – casually or in case of help requirement.
- They cannot hear to warning signals or crucial alarms.
There are many other problems that they face while traveling. Most of them can treat this hearing impairment with hearing aids. But, NIDCD says only one out five people who could benefit from a hearing aid actually uses one.
