- The engine: Hybrid cars run with two engines. Those are gas engine and electric engine. In hybrid car, electric engine will requires less work than the car engine. Standard car will run with only gas engine. If you use hybrid car properly the gas engine is used less and it will last longer then the standard car.
- The brake system: The standard car contains normal brake pads with regular disc brake system. The hybrid car contains “regenerative brake system”. Due to this system, the engine will regain its electrical charge. If you use this brake system properly in the hybrid car then it will last longer than the standard car.
- The fuel system: The hybrid car contains fuel system due to gas engine. The gas engine will work like an engine in the standard car. The gas engine will work less in the hybrid car.
- The battery: All cars contain batteries. However, the battery design in hybrid cars is more efficient then the standard car battery design. Batteries are power centers for electric engine in the hybrid cars.
The above mentioned features will help the hybrid cars to last longer than the standard cars.

Hybrid Cars have better technology like mentioned, which will allow them to last longer then a gar car, which doesn't have as good technology.
