Though the alcohol addicted person knows that it will kill him he will consume. To know the number of persons who are getting killed per year by the alcohol consumption is being brought out by the world health Organization (WHO). Surprising it is about 25 lakh (2.5 million) people will die just because of alcohol consumption. The alcohol consumption statistics and the death statistics are a bit surprising.
The world Health Organization told to 193 member countries to take an control action regarding the death rate reduction as it is going to be increased very much in the later years. Every year the deaths due to alcohol consumption are about 2.5 millions, out of which 0.3 million people are of the age group between 15 and 29. This terrible fact has been informed by the WHO during World Health Assembly held on May 17th 2010.
Consuming of Alcohol at a very high rate can lead to the death of the person. Addiction towards the alcohol may lead to the loss of the life.
